We, Frank Theunissen and Elly Verhoeven, have been organising ceramics courses in Cordes-sur-Ciel since 2000 under the name of La Céramique.

We offer fully organized courses with Frank as a teacher or with other experienced, professional ceramists as guest teachers. During the courses, Elly takes care of the culinary delights.

Frank worked from 1979 as a ceramist in Milsbeek (North Limburg, Netherlands). He exhibited at all the important ceramic markets in Europe. Since 2000, he concentrated entirely on giving and organising courses in Cordes-sur-Ciel and in the pottery village La Borne. He is one of the founders of the ceramic manifestation Keramisto and is still a member of the dutch “Noord-Limburgs Pottenbakkers Collectief.”
